The Wreject™ Galactic Wrestling League is looking for managers to join in on the action. Unique warriors from all corners of the Virgo Supercluster are squaring off in weekly tourneys, monthly melees, and are even poised for one-on-one bouts of your choosing. Possessing their own strengths, weaknesses, and special abilities, you can outfit them with complementary items to help give them an edge over their opponents and counter environmental effects of the arena.
A Wreject is the fighter you manage, promote, and who brings home the bread; each boasting unique, one-of-one artwork, backstory, as well as a personalized special move. Though numbers will be limited to start, new Wrejects will arrive on a quarterly basis. As their manager, you can also earn passive income from wins via Arcade Mode (covered below).
Initially pressed into service as the figurative “tomato cans” for the league, these refurbished and upfitted former prison guards are now contestants as well. The now hot-rodded automatons are more than capable of not just handling the toughest martial artists, but also vying for titles. Though possessing similar programming and hardware, each bot has a unique look as well as well-rounded, yet varying, attributes. Corp Bots provide managers the same chance at success as any Wreject.
Properly outfitting your chosen fighter is vital to their chances of winning a bout. Armor, weapons, and items all have an effect on their stats and abilities, so it’s important to not only take your Wreject’s attributes into account, but also those of their opponent. Also, if you’re up for raising the stakes, items can be put on the line in private matches.
There is no home field advantage for these combatants. Tourneys will be fought in different environments, all with their own status effects, meaning there’s more to prepare for than simply your opponent. Arenas can be purchased for those who want to test out different loadouts in preparation for matches, as well as to be used in private matches with friends (or against a manager/fighter you want to take another crack at).
Even in the middle of the rolling battles between warlords and the corporations, the planet of Pakanthi still has real estate on which to stake your claim and mine. Limited plots will be available for those looking to get in early, make some extra coin, and support the league.
